SUPPLIES & TOOLS:
- Book Pages PDF
- Paper Trimmer
- Corner Rounder Punch
- Embroidery Needle
- Embroidery Floss
- Binder clips (4)
- Printer
DIRECTIONS:
- Download book pages from the "Get Patterns" tab above. Print pages double sided.
- Trim pages along the thin black line using the paper trimmer. Make sure to keep the pages in order. Clip corners using the corner rounding punch
- Fold pages in half. Do one page at a time for a good crease in the center.
- Nest pages back together and check that they are in the correct order.
- Open the book from the center page and clip pages with the binder clips so that the folds are lined up.
- Use the embroidery needle to punch 5 evenly spaced holes in the crease of the pages. When referring to the holes in the next several steps, they are numbered 1-5 from top to bottom.
- Thread the needle with 12 inches of embroidery thread. Working from the inside pass the needle through the center hole (#3), leaving a few inches of thread behind to tie at the end.
- Bring the needle and thread back up through hole 2 and then down through hole 1. The needle should now be on the outside of the book.
- Bring the needle back up through hole 2 and then down through hole 3. The needle should be on the outside of the book and there should be thread lines connecting holes 1-3 on the both sides of the book.
- Bring the needle up through hole 4 and down through 5. The needle should be on the outside of the book.
- Bring the needle up through hole 4 and tie off the thread with the thread from the beginning. Trim the thread.
