DIRECTIONS:

Go to this project JELLYFISH COSTUME (available on Cricut Design Space)
Approximately 3"x 4.5" (7.62 cm x 11.43 cm ) 4.5"x 5.5" (11.43 cm x 13.97 cm) , 7.5"x 9.5" (19.05 cm x 24.13 cm) and 6"x 8.5" (15.24 cm x 21.59 cm)

    PREPARATION
  1. If you want to alter the project click "Customize," then use the tools in the Edit panel to make changes before you cut.

  2. CUT
  3. Be sure to Mirror the image when using iron-on and place the shiny side (clear liner) down on the mat.
  4. Follow the prompts in Design Space® to cut the images from the iron-on material and party foil.

  5. ASSEMBLE
  6. Use a Weeder tool to remove the negative pieces so just your design remains on the clear liner.
  7. Apply the iron-on layers to your project using a Cricut EasyPress™ and Cricut EasyPress Mat with our Interactive Guide, linked below, for the perfect time and temp settings; or use a household iron or heat press and a press cloth.
  8. Use a pressing form, or pressing ham if available, to apply the iron-on to the leggings.

JOANN HACKS:

  • A pressing ham is a tightly stuffed pillow used as a curved mold when pressing any curved area of clothing. Pressing the leggings on a curved form will allow them to better fit body contours.
  • Use the tip of an iron or a mini iron to apply the iron-on images to the shoes.
  • To make the tentacles, sew or glue the Party Foil streamers into the tutu, securing them near the waistband for maximum strength.
