Disappointed in fabric
Material is heavier than I would have bought had I been able to shop in the store. Online shopping is very misleading. I will use the fabric, but not for the intended purpose which is face masks.

Rubbish
This is not a nice cotton.....it's very coarse and stiff. I ordered it online and picked it up at the store. I bought five yards of it and my plan was to use it as a quilt back. I washed it, hoping to soften it up, and the color faded and it now has a 'lint' look to it with several light colored lines running through it. It's absolutely worthless. If I thought for a minute that Joann's would take it back I'd gladly return it.

Not Recommended for Masks
I was excited to find this color to use as the inside of masks I'm making for family, neighbors, and friends. That won't be happening. I washed and dried it on the sanitize settings of my washer & dryer hoping the fabric would soften. It is still stiff. I didn't take the time to read online reviews prior to purchasing and I'm totally kicking myself.

Warning do not buy for masks shrinks Progressively
I prewashed these fabrics twice the continue to shrink with every washing! I made masks for self, family, friends. From personal experience and feedback from others, I can tell you they shrink so much that the masks are unusable after about 4 washes. So I have Wasted a lot of time and money. it is embarassing that I gave them to help people out but they performed so poorly. This happened to all the keepsake calico I purchased

Nice Appearance/Odd Feel
Fabric had a waxy feel on arrival. Washed and ironed it softened up and held the color well. The color is pretty. When stitched with black thread for face masks, the non-dyed white backing appeared with the stitches on the front (I also had black bobbin thread). Not the quality I expected.

Stiff fabric
I am disappointed with this fabric. Even after 2 washings it is still rough and stiff, not a bit soft. Bought it for masks but it will not be comfortable around the face. Color is pretty though.

Excellent print
This fabric looks awesome. Sort of like a red marble type. The texture itself was stiff even though it says cotton. But it doesnt take away from the quilt i am making. Super vibrant. I love the way it looks.

Good solid fabric!

Love the color
I bought this and found out it wants to wobble a little as you sew it so have to be very careful when ironing it otherwise color is great and would buy it again. I will wash the rest and see if that helps. Starch and/or water did help but still had to be careful.

Cut in fabric center
This was a nice material but it had a cut in the middle of the fabric that looked like it had been glued or pieced together with fabric adhesive. The rest of the fabric was fine. Since I had a deadline for my project I was able to piece around the fabric flaw. Disappointing, though.
