Rated 1 out of 5 by from iDye The description on the website combines two separate products as one. That's why people think they are ordering poly dye and getting natural fiber dye like I did! Maybe know your products and proof read. Can't rate or recommend product based on Joann's mistake. Poor value since it won't work for my project. Obviously many have had this problem and they have done nothing to fix it. Even if you showed a pic of the package you could tell the difference. Glad I saw the issue BEFORE I started my project!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I Dye Poly Black I ordered three different colors of the Idye Poly black, Kelly green and Turquoise and the black was not idye poly it’s just for natural materials. Unfortunately it won’t work for what I’m using dyes for. My photo tells it all. I wish that I could just walk into a JOANN store and pick it up in person. I’ll see if there’s some way that I can get the correct black. The other two colors are perfect though.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from DONT ORDER IDYE POLY NAVY I dont know what the problem is with this company. I've tried 5 times to get idye poly in navy blue. I got idye navy for natural fibers instead of poly. I did get one idye poly but they sent brown. No one takes responsibility to fix the wear house issue just say we can not guarantee a color when ordered on line. Unfortunately, they do not sell the navy in stores in my area.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not Flourescent Yellow The flourescent yellow came out more like a banana color.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worked as Described I dyed an evening gown needed a dark blue bought the midnight blue was the only dark blue option. The blue was a little brighter then I wanted but colored nice and even. I might buy the dark silver or black and mix with the dark blue to get a darker blue. Good product I recommend.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I wish i had looked up reviews from inside the store.. I got this because it was the only thing at my local joanns to dye polyester, and i WISH i had read the reviews first... i opened the window and had 2 fans on, and still Every Single Plastic Thing that the droplets landed on is stained. Even my special blind box pucky collection on top of the fridge.. my littlest pet shop toys (on the complete other end of the condo, its open floor plan) that ive had over 15 years have ugly spots all over them. I can't bleach those like i can with the counters! 😭 DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT

Rated 1 out of 5 by from So Bad I Feel Compelled to Review ( = feeling compelled to give a warnining) This is this worst product I have ever had the displeasure of using.. I would maybe recommend it to my enemies. I used the black synthetic dye on 2 faded black synthetic garments.. the results? The dye MAYBE changed the undertone of the "black". I followed the directions to a tee and this is not my first time dyeing clothing.. I had success with other products. In fact, I even used professional-grade products to prep the garments too. Ineffective results wasn't the worst part, though. This product was an absolute nightmare to work with. Not only does it smell extremely toxic, but even a minor droplet will leave a very bad stain on anything. Luckily I covered all kitchen surfaces with plastic bags, but even that wasn't enough protection. The dye packet was broken (not due to me mishandling), and a seemingly minimal amount of product particles spilled on the floor; but, it ended up spreading everywhere. After that tragedy was handled with acetone and rubbing alcohol & I managed not to pass out from fumes, I spent the next hour or so trying to wash the garments out by hand. When that didn't work, I ran it through a commercial washer thinking that would be sufficient. I wore both garments on two separate occasions, and the dye ended up transferring onto my leather purses and trashing both of them. Not only did I ruin two shirts, but two of my favorite leather bags. Maybe to some this wouldn't be the worst event, but I keep my clothing/accessories for years and sometimes even decades.. I will never purchase anything from this company again. I wish I had paid heed to the warnings from other customers. I'm also typing this with grey looking arms - this product even trashed my epidermis - luckily that'll wash off with soap though. You should use this product if you're a masochist
