  2. Baste batting pieces to a corresponding cotton piece.
  3. With right sides together, fold Strap Top in half lengthwise.
  4. Sew down long side and turn right side out.
  5. Use a safety pin to help pull it through. Iron flat.
  6. Repeat for second Strap Top.
  7. Cut two 32" lengths of the Webbing Strap and insert one length into a Strap Top.
  8. Fold the raw edge of the strap to the interior, iron, and sew.
  9. With right sides together, fold Top Loop in half lengthwise.
  10. Sew down long side and turn right side out.
  11. Use a safety pin to help pull it through. Iron flat.

  13. Match raw edge of Strap Tops with raw edge of Main Body and baste about 1 1/2" on either side of the Top Loop.
  14. Affix Adjustable Slide Buckles to the bottoms of the Webbing Straps.
  15. Bring the Slide Buckle to about 4 1/2" under the Strap Top, and baste the bottom of the Webbing Strap into place along the bottom of the Main Body.
  16. With right sides together, match a Bottom with batting to the bottom edges of a Side with batting and sew.
  17. With right sides together, match the Main Body with batting and straps to the Bottom and Side with batting, and sew. This is the outer body.
  18. Repeat steps for the lining.
  19. _x000B_Fold Zipper Flap lengthwise, and baste.

  22. Sandwich raw edge of Zipper in between the pieces and center.
  23. Baste in place with the Zipper Foot on your sewing machine.

  1. Cut the corners of the Top and Bottom pouch where indicated on the pattern.

  4. Press back triangles created with cut X and press with iron.
  5. Repeat steps for Pouch Bottom lining piece.
  6. Line up outer Pouch Bottom with Pouch Bottom lining and pin in place.
  7. Place zipper in the open rectangle, sandwiched between the two layers, and topstitch all the way around with a zipper foot.
  8. Trim off excess zipper.
  9. Baste the lining to the outer Pouch Bottom all around the four sides.

  18. Push bottom of pouch in and topstitch along pouch bottom edge.
  19. Place lining over top Main Body with Pouch, right sides together.
  20. Sandwich the rest of the bag in between the Main Body and the lining so that the bag straps are together against the pouch, and pull the raw zipper edge up to the raw edges of the Main Body and the Lining.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not for the faint of heart I’m giving this two stars because I was happy with the way the product turned out. Unfortunately, the pattern was very difficult to follow, and I ended up having to improvise in several areas. It took me far longer than it should have and led to a few headaches. If you’re up for a challenge, this is a great opportunity for you!
