- Using your scissors cut two crescent shape forms on the craft foam.
- You can weave the shapes into the spokes of the wheels.
- Attach the stars randomly on the wheels on both sides of the spokes with sticky stars sandwiching the spoke.
STREAMERS:
- Cut ten 10" pieces of ribbon.
- Group 5 of them together and tie into a knot.
- Use your X-Acto knife and make a small slit into the base of the handlebar.
- Push the knotted parts of the ribbons into the slit.
- It will close back up around the bunch of ribbons. Repeat with the other handle.
BASKET:
- Cut a piece of ribbon to drape across the front of the basket leaving some ribbon for tails. Length will vary depending on the size of your basket.
- Cut the pennants out of the craft foam. Attach flowers or stars to the front of the pennants so you can attach the flowers to the ribbon.
- Glue pom poms in the middle of each flower.
- Glue the pennants to the ribbon with the Quick Grip glue.
- Let it dry before attaching to the basket.
- Attach the banner to the basket with the Quick Grip glue and let it dry before attaching the basket to the front of the bike.
Perler LICENSE PLATE:
- To make the name for the license plate, take the number of letters and start in the middle of the name.
- You will be putting the Perler beads onto the form working from the middle outward. This way the name is centered onto the form.
- Lay out the filler background beads, starting in the upper left corner, and working your way down to the bottom right corner.
- Follow the instructions included in the Perler bead package on how to iron the license plates.
- Once you have completed the name and it is cooled, pull it off the form and flip it over.
- Iron it again from the backside to make sure the name is secure, and the beads are completed melted together.
- Push a piece of thin wire into the corners of plate. Attach to back of seat.
JOANN HACKS:
- When crafting the banner, make the pennants in quantities of 5, so that one will be in the center of the basket when you attach it to the front.
