DIRECTIONS:
BIKE WHEELS:
  1. To create a crescent moon shape, measure the inside dimension of the wheel of the bike.
  2. Using your scissors cut two crescent shape forms on the craft foam.
  3. You can weave the shapes into the spokes of the wheels.
  4. Attach the stars randomly on the wheels on both sides of the spokes with sticky stars sandwiching the spoke.

STREAMERS:
  1. Cut ten 10" pieces of ribbon.
  2. Group 5 of them together and tie into a knot.
  3. Use your X-Acto knife and make a small slit into the base of the handlebar.
  4. Push the knotted parts of the ribbons into the slit.
  5. It will close back up around the bunch of ribbons. Repeat with the other handle.

BASKET:
  1. Cut a piece of ribbon to drape across the front of the basket leaving some ribbon for tails. Length will vary depending on the size of your basket.
  2. Cut the pennants out of the craft foam. Attach flowers or stars to the front of the pennants so you can attach the flowers to the ribbon.
  3. Glue pom poms in the middle of each flower.
  4. Glue the pennants to the ribbon with the Quick Grip glue.
  5. Let it dry before attaching to the basket.
  6. Attach the banner to the basket with the Quick Grip glue and let it dry before attaching the basket to the front of the bike.

Perler LICENSE PLATE:
  1. To make the name for the license plate, take the number of letters and start in the middle of the name.
  2. You will be putting the Perler beads onto the form working from the middle outward. This way the name is centered onto the form.
  3. Lay out the filler background beads, starting in the upper left corner, and working your way down to the bottom right corner.
  4. Follow the instructions included in the Perler bead package on how to iron the license plates.
  5. Once you have completed the name and it is cooled, pull it off the form and flip it over.
  6. Iron it again from the backside to make sure the name is secure, and the beads are completed melted together.
  7. Push a piece of thin wire into the corners of plate. Attach to back of seat.

JOANN HACKS:
  • When crafting the banner, make the pennants in quantities of 5, so that one will be in the center of the basket when you attach it to the front.
