SUPPLIES & TOOLS:
- 2 Sheets of Silver Glitter Foamie
- 2 Sheets of Adhesive White Foamie
- Cricut Machine
- Deep Cricut Cutting Blade
- Wing Pattern
- Cricut Weeder
- X-acto Knife
- All Purpose Tacky Glue
- Small Detail Scissors
- Green Standard Cutting Mat
DIRECTIONS:
- Upload the 2 wing patterns into Design Space. You will need to copy each wing and flip them in Design Space to create a completed wing for each side of the helmet. Make sure you firmly press the foamie onto the green cutting mat. Use your Cricut machine and deep cutting blade to cut out the wings.
- Carefully remove the cut out top outlined wing. Use your X-acto knife and weeder to lift off the delicate top wing. Try not to pull too quickly or you will tear it.
- Cut out the bottom wing. While it is still on the mat, peel off the backing on the top outlined wing and place it on top of the bottom wing starting from one side and working your way to the other side. Remove the completed wing from the green mat. Repeat these steps to make the second wing.
JOANN HACKS:
- You may need to use glue to attach some of the thin outlines on the top wing. Use very small amount of glue.
