- Pumpkins

- Low-temp Hot Glue Gun/Glue Gun Sticks

- Painter's Tape
- Craft Knife
- Salt

DIRECTIONS:
PUMPKIN CHARACTERS:- Flatten the air dry clay to about 1/4" width with a rolling pin.
- Use a butter knife to cut out different sized squares, rectangles, and triangles.
- Use different sized lids (jar lids, chapstick lids, craft paint lids, etc.) to cut out different sized circles.
- Make a large variety of different sized geometric shapes to turn into pumpkin character features.
- Paint pumpkins, let dry.
- Attach dried clay shapes to dried painted pumpkins with a low-temp hot glue gun.
- Use additional colored paper to fold into hats, hair, masks, etc. Affix with low-temp hot glue and paint if desired.
- Paint on any additional features if desired.
PUMPKIN WITH SHAPES:
- Paint pumpkin, allow to dry.
- Draw shapes with a pencil.
- Cover the shape with painter's tape and use a craft knife to lightly cut around the drawn shape.
- Pull off excess tape. Continue taping off all the way around the pumpkin, and paint again.
- Allow paint to dry to the touch and pull off taped shapes.
SALT PAINTING PUMPKIN:
- Draw onto the pumpkin with pencil and trace over your drawing with School Glue, Sprinkle salt over top of glue.
- Continue all over the pumpkin and allow to dry.
- Once dry, dab watercolor onto the salt and watch as the color spreads across the salt.
- Continue for the entire pumpkin.
