Ball Pit
- If needed, trim foam to 20” high. Cut (1) 111” x 21” fleece rectangle out of lining fabric. Cut (1) 111” x 25” fleece rectangle out of exterior fabric. Sew wrong-sides together long ends of rectangles to create a tube. Use 1/2” seam allowance.
- Turn tube right-side out. Sew tube into circle, right-sides together leaving large hole in lining fabric to insert foam.
- Insert foam into circle and slip-stitch hole in lining closed.
- To print the templates, click on the "Download Project PDF" button (above). Using template, cut a circle out of each mat fabric. Place circles wrong-sides together and baste around edges. Use binding to finish edges of mat.
- Using horse template pieces, cut two bodies out of print fleece, 2 head out of solid white fleece, and 1 mane and 1 3”x6” rectangle out of black fleece.
- Sew buttons to marked positions on pattern. Sew horse heads to horse bodies, right-sides together. Align mane to positions marked on pattern and baste, right-sides together. Fold tail rectangle in half, lengthwise and baste to position on pattern. Sew horse pieces, right-sides together, leaving a small hole for turning.
- Turn horse right-side out and fill with Poly-fil. Slip hole closed. Make 1/2" cuts into mane and tail to finish.
- Cut 60 1”x36” strips of pom-pom fleece. Wrap 1 around 3” wide piece of cardboard several times and tie off with 1”x6” fleece rectangle. Repeat for desired number of pom-poms.
