NOTE:
Lengths of knitted cord (I-cord) are worked, then shaped into bows and linked together to make the Garland.
I-CORDS: (Make 12 - 4 each with A, B, and C)
Working with 2 double pointed needles, cast on 4 sts.
Knit the 4 sts.
Do not turn work. * Slide sts to other end of needle and knit them, pulling yarn tightly across the back of the work, (do not turn work); rep from * until cord measures about 18" long.
Cut yarn, leaving a long tail. Thread tail through remaining 4 sts and pull to close opening.
Knot securely and weave in tail.
ASSEMBLY:
Cut 4 lengths, each about 18" long (of each color yarn for ties)
Form I-Cords into Bows and link them together in the following color sequence: (A, B, C) 4 times.
Lay an I-Cord length onto a flat surface.
Cross the ends of the I-Cord over the center to make a bow shape.
Wrap matching color tie tightly around center of bow.
Thread end of tie onto blunt needle.
Draw needle under wraps and weave in yarn end to finish the bow.
Lay next I-Cord onto a flat surface.
Thread cord through loop of previous bow.
Rep steps 2 and 3.
Rep to join remaining cords.
