SUPPLIES & TOOLS:

  • Caron Colorama O'Go (6.4 oz; 228 yds)
  • Blue Mustang (68015) 1 O'Go
  • Size U.S. 10 (6 mm) Knitting Needles (or size needed to obtain gauge)
  • Yarn Needle

  • GAUGE: 13 sts and 18 rows = 4" in stocking st.
  • MEASUREMENTS: Approx 13 1/2" tall x 24" in diameter

O'Go note:
To begin working with the O'Go format, carefully cut plastic tie where the ends of the O'Go meet. 
Pull tie to remove.
NOTES:
Cowl is knit sideways.
There is no right or wrong side. Cowl is reversible.
Cast on 44 sts.
1st to 10th rows: Slip 1 purlwise (Sl1P). Knit to end of row.
11th to 18th rows: Sl1P. Purl 1 (P1). *Knit 1 (K1). P1. Repeat (rep) from * to end of row.
Rep last 18 rows for pattern (pat) until work from beginning (beg) measures approximately (approx) 24" ending on an 18th row.
Cast off.
Finishing: Sew cast on and cast off edges together (tog) using flat seam to form Cowl. SEE DIAGRAM 1.
