SPECIAL STITCHES
K2(3)tog = Knit next 2(3) stitches together
P2tog = Purl next 2 stitches together
P2togtbl = Purl next 2 stitches together through back loops

NOTES:
To begin working with the O'Go format, carefully cut plastic tie where the ends of the O'Go meet.
Pull tie to remove. 
Easily separate colors of each O'go by gently pulling apart and cutting at the color transition. 

RIBBING STRIPE PAT:
With A, work 2 rows.
(With B, work 2 rows. With A, work 2 rows) 4 times.
Last 18 rows form Ribbing Stripe Pat.

BODY STRIPE PAT:

BACK:
With smaller needles and A, cast on 85 (93-99-111-125-137) sts.
1st row: (RS). *K1. P1. Rep from * to last st. K1.
2nd row: *P1. K1. Rep from * to last st. P1.
First 2 rows of Ribbing Stripe Pat complete.
Cont in (K1. P1) ribbing until all 18 rows of Ribbing Stripe Pat are complete.

Change to larger needles and proceed as follows:
1st row: (RS). With B, knit, inc 0 (1-1-0-1-0) st(s) evenly across. 85 (94-100-111-126-137) sts.
2nd row: Purl.
First 2 rows of Body Stripe Pat are complete.

Keeping cont of Body Stripe Pat, cont in stocking st until work from beg measures 13" [33 cm], ending on a purl row.

Change to larger needles and proceed in pat as follows:

Neckband: With RS facing, A and smaller needles, K17 (17-19-19-20-21) from Right Front st holder. Pick up and knit 12 sts up Right Front neck edge. K35 (36-38-39-40-41) from Back st holder dec 0 (1-1-0- 1-0) st(s) at center. Pick up and knit 12 sts down Left Front neck edge. K17 (17-19-19-20-21) from Left Front st holder. 93 (93-99-101-103-107) sts.

Beg on a 2nd row, work 3 rows in (K1. P1) ribbing as given for Back.
Next row: (RS). With B, K1. P1. K1. yo. K2tog (buttonhole made). Rib to end of row.
With B, work 3 more rows in (K1. P1) ribbing.
With A, work 4 rows in (K1. P1) ribbing.
Cast off in ribbing.

Sew on buttons to correspond to buttonholes.
