SUPPLIES & TOOLS:
DIRECTIONS:
- 1yd – fleece
- 1 large package of polyester stuffing
- Basic sewing supplies
- Sewing machine
DIRECTIONS:
- (use 1/2" seams)
- Cut three 8" x Width of fabric.
- Sew the three strips together at their short ends to make one long strip.
- Fold strip in half lengthwise right sides together and sew long side and one short end to form tube. Turn right side out.
- Fill with polyester stuffing. Stitch opening closed. Do not over stuff. Put enough stuffing in to form the tube, too much will be hard to work with. Too much stuffing will make it impossible to twist and turn.
- Download the pattern, click on the "Download Project PDF" button (above).
- Follow the pattern for the knot. The first three illustrations form the base for the knot and then follow along the same path for the second round.
- When the end of the second round is reached, you may see that you do not have the length to finish. This is where it is necessary to play with the tube to pull it tight and work through and leave no open spaces. Remember: Step 4 – do not over-stuff.
- To complete the pillow, slip stitch the ends to back of pillow.

The directions refer to a pattern to use to knot the tube. No pattern was provided anywhere! Perhaps the pattern was provided in earlier versions, but not in this one!

Just a thought
So close to Christmas wouldn't the cardboard tube from wrapping paper be closer to the 3-4 ft size used to help stuff? Great suggestions in reviews thank you!

Awesome idea!!!!
Just seen this Knot Pillow idea and so glad I did!!! I was just deciding on some Christmas ideas and decor for my living room and seen this pillow. This will be a super idea to go along with the throw blankets. Excited to hit JoAnn’s this weekend even more sew to get my material and start to making the blankets with matching Knot Pillows!!!!!!!!

Cute Pillow (easy project with these TIPS)
Tips:
1) Use a ZIG ZAG stitch to allow some give and prevent busting the seams while stuffing and knotting
2) Completely turn the sewn fabric tube RIGHT SIDE out
3) Collect the tubes from empty toilet paper and paper towel rolls and duct tape them together to create a stuffing tube (needs to be at least 3 to 4 feet long in order to scrunch the entire fabric tube over your stuffing tube)
4) Use a broom handle (detach the broom bottom) as your stuffing tool to get stuffing down the stuffing tube to the very end of the fabric tube. Allow the fabric tube to slowly un-scrunch as you stuff!

Cute!
This turns out cute, and isn't too difficult. It takes a while though. More like 3-4 hours. I used another reviewers idea about stuffing using a paper towel cylinder, which was very helpful.
