DIRECTIONS:
  1. Cut a piece of gray felt slightly larger than the size of the mask.
  2. Glue the felt to the mask, and trim away any extra felt around the edges and eye holes.
  3. Using the pattern template, cut out one brown felt eye spot. To print the patterns, click on the "Download Project PDF" button (above). Glue in place over one eye, and cut out the eye hole
  4. Using the pattern templates, cut out the ear pieces in the white fur, two per ear.
  5. Glue the ears, wrong sides together.
  6. Cut away some of the fur along the bottom edge of the front of the ear. Glue here to attach to the mask.
  7. Glue the ears to top of the mask, gluing to the inside of the mask.
  8. Use the pattern template to cut out one black felt nose.
  9. Glue the nose in place.

JOANN Hacks:
  • Eye holes can be cut out of the felt, or make slits in felt from behind the eyes, and fold and glue the felt to the back of the mask.
  • To cut the fur, use scissors and cut tiny snips close to the fabric, to avoid cutting the pile.
