Beginner 1-2 Hours
SUPPLIES & TOOLS:
  • Blank card
  • Colored paper/cardstock
  • Adhesive foam squares
  • Scissors/ precision utility knife
  • Pens/markers

DIRECTIONS:
NOTE: Select a blank card to use as your base.
  1. Make a window cutout by cutting a piece of colored paper/cardstock to the exact dimensions of your blank card base. Using a utility knife, cut out the desired shape in the middle of the paper.
  2. Attach the paper to the base of the card using adhesive foam squares. This will add dimension from the base of the card to the first layer, so you can have imagery coming out of the window cutout.
  3. Using different pieces of colored paper/cardstock, play around with shapes, designs, and wording for your greeting card. Keep in mind you can add several layers of paper for more dimension.
  4. Use your pens or markers to add fun sayings or patterns onto the paper.
  5. Once you are satisfied with your composition, adhere all the shapes to the layer underneath using foam blocks and send to a friend.
