Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great for Harry Potter fans My teenage daughter is a big Harry Potter fan and she had no trouble figuring out what all of the items were. The rest of us needed some help on some of the more obscure items. The picture instructions were easy to follow and everyone had fun building things. The game made less sense. We just like collecting the figures each year.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best calendar yet! Absolutely the best calendar so far (Yule ball only one that comes close). The micro builds are epic, very very clever. The theme of it, 3 per book/film was brilliant and made it work so well. The minifig scale builds (goblet of fire) were the most disappointing, but otherwise and overall it was wonderful. Really hope the designers keep with this style and theme.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from So disappointed It pains me to write a one start review but this advent calendar lacks quality control like I have never seen before. I have two sets of doubles on mini figs I was really looking forward to and ended up with two I care little about. I am two weeks in on waiting for the first one and just noticed the second right now while setting it up for permanent display. Given the cost, even increase in prices, and continued disappointment, this has solidified that I will no longer be doing Lego advent calendars in the future.

Not only did I not have Voldemort minifigure, but also I have no news from lego since i made a request for the missing pieces. Some of the Voldemort minifigure pieces were out of stock so i guess they made this mistakes multiple times, and saw comments with the same issue. Very disapointed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fun build Absolutely loved this advent calendar, all the numbers were easy to open and access and all the lego was, as always, brilliant quality. The calendar followed the movies in order with the builds and mini figures, you would get the beginning of the story, the end of the story and then the mini figure to corollate. Even double the amount for the deathly hallows as it split each days into part 1 and 2. I would personally say that this advent calendar is an easy fun build for all ages especially people who enjoy Harry Potter. Will most likely be getting another potter themed calendar next year from here due to the fantastic quality of this year.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Yearly Calendar This calendar was a good calendar, but it was hard to tell what some of the builds were. For example, on day 13, I got the Room of Requirement, and the build was vague and hard to distinguish. Also, I think that the Triwizard Cup from day 11 could have been done better. Other than these few things, the figure selection is great, although the Harry figure is a bit overused. Some of the microbuilds were great inclusions, like the Whomping Willow from day 4, the mini Hogwarts Express from day 23, and the Weasly’s house, the Burrow, from day 20. The inclusion of the game built into the calendar is a nice thing, but takes away from of the festiveness we could have gotten in the builds, instead of there being just three things per movie, 2 items/scenes and 1 minifigure. Overall, this was a pleasant calendar, and I think Lego did a good job this year round.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Duplicate of 21 and missing 12 My son was hoping to receive Voldemort but instead receive duplicates of Hedwig and the dreidel. His disappointment was very apparent. Thanks Lego for that screw up. Do better
