After building the mountain scene, complete with ski slope, ski shop and café, kids can have fun kitting out the characters Liann, Zac and Aron with snowboards, skis and helmets. Then kids can propel the characters down the ski slope before treating them to a hot chocolate at the ski café. There’s also a secret cave to find and kids can add the snow fox to the scene to create even more snow-inspired stories. Boost the fun Kids discover an easy and intuitive building adventure with the LEGO Builder app. Here they can zoom in and rotate models in 3D, save sets and track their progress.     Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fun set that fits for many situations Had my eye on this set for a while - it looks great and would fit for a wide variety of uses. Winter villages, general play, modular cities, etc. The tree design is great - I left a little space between the two leaf sections on a couple so they could be offset. I do like discovering the small details the designers incorporate but sometimes I wonder why they bury them? It is neat when the structure in a set looks like it would in actual construction, but I guess in this case they're setting it up for a cross with a Friends character with a metal detector to find the coins? :) It does feel really solid and I'm glad I picked this one up.

The build was straightforward and enjoyable, and he liked creating the mountain scene with the ski slope, ski shop, and café. The characters and accessories are a nice touch, and he enjoyed playing out scenarios with them. The secret cave and snow fox add a bit of extra excitement. Overall, it's a solid choice for kids who enjoy LEGO Friends and winter-themed play-sets.

    Rated 5 out of 5 by from A winter ski wonderland The set overall is beautiful, filled with details like the wending machine in the cafe, how the initials of the last lego friends group are written in the cave or the little spot for the cute snow fox under the ski slope and lastly i want to point out the trees they’re so beautiful and they add so much to the building so there isn’t just this free space. This set is perfect for the winter time or just for display :)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] LEGO Friends Holiday Ski Slope and Cafe is a 980 piece of colorful and differents shaped bricks to connect! This Holiday ski slope and cafe set is perfect for the holidays and fun to assemble with my boys. It took quite a few days to connect all the pieces but it was well worth it. There are so many different pieces and different ways to play with this holiday set. There is the ski slope with skiers to the cafe shop with all the goodies. The skiers have complete gear and helmets and ski poles while the cafe shop has everything from cookies under the glass to hot chocolate cups. The trees, benches, menu board, skis and poles, little animals, cafe food, tools, log seats and included stickers make this set so much fun. There is even a Lego tool that helps to remove and unconnect pieces that is so helpful. Also included are 3 Lego people and a snow fox to add to the whimsy of this set. We have downloaded the Lego Builder app that has step by step instructions for this set and all the other Lego Playsets. I highly recommend the LEGO Friends Holiday Ski Slope and Cafe for hours of winter fun and imagination!

There are lots of colors and everything is so detailed including the cool minifigures. The instructions are very user friendly. I must say it was a bit of a challenge but fun to put together. The finished product is amazing, and we plan to put it on display. We are very pleased with this product and would highly recommend!
