Nice quality
I use this cotton yarn to design this coasters. It’s not the cheapest but compared to other cheaper brands, this one is thicker. The colors are great too.

More coral than rose
The ad shows a very pastel color for coral rose, but it is very much a deeper coral. It's nearly orange in my opinion.
Still, it is pretty. Even though my picture appears slightly pink, it at least shows the depth of the color. It is a deep coral and does not appear pink or rose at all in real life.
The yarn is tough and after crocheting for a while I get a dent in my working yarn finger.

Not as bright as picture in ad
The yarn is strong, and I didn't have any knots in any of the cakes I bought. I am only a bit disappointed that the colors are not as shown. The hot pink is far duller. The coral rose in the ad looks light peach but is more of a strong coral as you can see in my picture. I also purchase the yellow which in the ad looks pastel yellow, but it is a very true yellow not pastel at all.
