NOTES
The Hat/Cowl is crocheted in one piece in the round.
Due to the lush fur texture of this yarn, you may not be able to see your stitches. We found it easiest to feel for the next stitch.
If you'd like to keep the yarn contained as you work, slip the ball into a zippered plastic bag. Zip the bag closed, leaving an opening for the strand of yarn.
HAT/COWL
Chain 45.
Set-Up Row: Work a half double crochet into the 3rd chain from the hook and in each chain across. Join the ends of the row with a slip stitch in top of the beginning chain, now you can begin working in the round.
Round 1: Chain 2, half double crochet in each stitch around; join with a slip stitch in top of the beginning chain.
Tip
On each round, count your stitches as you work around. This way, if you miss working into a stitch, you can simply make an extra stitch into the edge of the Cowl to keep your total number of stitches consistent.
Repeat Round 1 until almost all yarn has been used.
You don't need to end exactly at the end of a round - this yarn is very stretchy and it won't show if you stop crocheting at any point in a round.
Fasten off.
FINISHING
Thread ending yarn tail into the blunt needle, then weave through stitches on the inside of the Hat/Cowl to secure the yarn end. Thread beginning yarn tail into the blunt needle and sew the beginning and the end of the Set-Up Row together, then finish weaving in the tail.

Like wearing a Cloud - Faux Fur Hat/Cowl
The stitches are a bit of a nuisance with the faux fur but the tips in this patten were very helpful and the Hat/Cowl came out so nice and ever so soft. Loved it.
