  • LION BRAND® large-eyed blunt needle
  • Circular knitting needle size 6 (4.25 mm), 36" long

  • SIZE:
  • About 27" at longest and 64" at widest

  • GAUGE:
  • 20 sts = about 4" in Garter st (k every st on every row).
  • BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE.

DIRECTIONS:
STITCH EXPLANATION:
kfb (knit in front and back) Knit next st without removing it from left needle, then knit through back of same stitch - 1 st increased.

NOTES:
Shawl is worked in one piece, back and forth in rows, from lower point upwards.
Increases are worked at beginning of every row to shape Shawl.
A circular needle is used to accommodate the stitches. Work back and forth on the circular needle as if working on straight needles.

SHAWL:
Cast on 3 sts.
Row 1: Knit.
Row 2: Kfb, knit to end of row - 4 sts.
Repeat Row 2 until piece measures about 27" from beginning or until only enough yarn remains to bind off.
Bind off.

FINISHING:
Weave in ends.
