Crochet - Yes, Knitting - NoIt worked really well for a vintage crochet project. Worked up nice and even. Knitting was another story. Even though I used wooden needles to prevent slipping, it worked up very uneven and almost impossible to control tension. Also, as mentioned many times before by other users, some skeins have a LOT of knots. Overall, I still love this yarn for its colors and softness, but will use it only for crochet going forward.

Loved the yarn! So so softI really loved how this yarn worked up when creating a baby jumper. It’s so soft to touch and light. It does split a lot so I don’t recommend using smaller hooks to work with this yarn. I’d say minimum a size 4.0. I used the color mushroom and will so be buying more after this review.

Fabulous Yarn but a bit difficult to useI love this yarn and can never seem to resist buying it as it comes in so many lovely shades. It is soft and makes luxuriously soft cardigans. I took one star off as it does tend to split whilst crocheting with it. Still, the finished product is well worth the hassle of a few splits.

too many knotsI purchased 10 skeins to make a sweater and every skein had multiple knots. I have used this yarn many times without this issue but for all 10 skeins to be an issue I had to scrap the project.

Absolutely amazingI bought some of this yarn to create a baby afghan. I used the blanket stitch to create texture. This yarn is so amazing. The blanket is perfect for a new baby, such a soft fluffy texture you can’t help but feel the baby will be wrapped with lots of love. One does have to be careful not to pull the threads while crocheting. I made it a habit to use my thumb to protect previous stitches; however, if you do pull a strand of thread, just go below and place your hook under the whole strand and gently pull the yarn back into place. After washing, it went back into place naturally. Next project will be a cardigan.

Love satin finish & excellent drapeI love this yarn! It has a beautiful satin finish to it and an amazing drape. It’s great yarn to make garments with, I’ve made a summer top and a light lacy cardigan. The only downside is that the yarn tends to be slippery and is prone to splitting.

LuxuriousCurrently working on a summer tank with Truboo in Slate. It is way more luxurious than I anticipated. Very drapey, silky, and the colors are absolutely gorgeous. It has a tendency to split, but once you get familiar with the yarn, it shouldn't be a problem.
