Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sparkle Mandala Yarn This Sparkle Mandala yarn is one step thinner than worsted weight, so I held it double with another strand of complimentary yarn, and used both strands to crochet Spiral Witch's Hats. Because of the double strand, the end result is thicc and maintains its shape well. The sparkle yarn is achieved by a soft, pliable metallic strand interwoven with the yarn, and that separate strand can sometimes either get caught or not get included when crocheting, so just be aware that you need to catch all parts of the yarn when working with it. I agree with other reviews that a gradient ombre versus an abrupt change in color would be more aesthetically pleasing, but I do really like this yarn. With its lightweight aspects, this yarn would make for great shawls and summer clothing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from enjoy these colors made my first amazing shawl and it was a challenge accomplished with cakes of mandala - i will be using more mandala ** names are inspiring, spirit, draco, crux, aquarious, the brightness and color combos really inspire my creations ** if affordable & will share this great yarn with other new & seasoned crochet enthusiasts!! if mandala offers sponsorships I would happily donate my creations for a Angelic cause ~ spirit led contributions!!

I am a beginner so I don’t quite understand how color changing yarn works, so I separated the colors myself (as shown in the photo). My piece turned out pretty and I love the subtle gold sparkles.

I’m only showing this yarn in my before and after photos because I am adding loop yarn next. 5 stars for this quality yarn

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Supremely disappointed My daughter picked out the colourway Orion for a halter top I wanted to make her. Online the swatches are stunning but in person? Nope. Not only are the shades really muted but the transition from one colour to the next is not attractive when worked up at all. There are splotches of colour throughout that make the project look dirty. Hugely disappointed. Will not order again.
