Enlarge patterns. Basic Pillow with envelope style back: Cut one 17Ó x 17Ó for front and two 17Ó x 12Ó for back Apply embellishments to front of pillow. With right sides together, overlap back pieces and sew to front using 1/2Ó seam. Clip corners and turn right side out. Insert pillow form. For Scallop Corners: Use chalk marker to mark curved lines on front. Cut out strips of scallop design. Machine or hand gather straight edge just enough to follow curve of patterns. Lay scallops along curved lines and glue or sew scallops in place. Outside raw has 6 scallops, next row has 5 scallops, then 4 and then 3. Repeat with each corner. Construct pillow For center flower, trim 1/2Ó off 5 scallop strip, hand stitch and gather flat end pulling tightly into a flower shape. Glue small fleece circle in center of pillow. For Scallop Edge Flowers: (cut out 10 flowers or more is desired) Cut out strips of scallop design. Hand gather bottom edge and pull gathering tightly. Secure ends together and pull into flower shape. Cut out a small circle and glue in center. Glue onto finished pillow. For Gathered Flowers: (cut out 9 flowers or more if desired) Cut one strip 1-1/2Ó x 18Ó and use pattern to cut ends. Hand gather bottom edge and pull gathering tightly. Secure ends together and wrap into flower shape. Glue onto finished pillow.
