SUPPLIES & TOOLS:
- 1/4 yd each of 21 print fabrics or assorted scraps
- 3 1/4 yd fabric for backing
- 1/2 yd fabric for binding
- 52" x 62" piece of batting
- Rotary cutter, ruler and mat
- Basic sewing supplies
- Iron and pressing surface
- Sewing machine
DIRECTIONS:
- Quilt top approx. 48" x 58"
- Sew with accurate 1/4" seams throughout
- Read all instructions before cutting.
- Cut an assortment from the fabrics as follows: 42 - 2" squares for A; 42 - 2" x 1 1/2" B strips; 84 - 3" x 1 1/2" C strips; 84 - 4" x 1 1/2" D strips; 84 - 5" x 1 1/2" E strips; 84 - 6" x 1 1/2" F strips; 84 - 7" x 1 1/2" G strips; 84 - 8" x 1 1/2" H strips; 42 - 9" x 1 1/2" I strips.
- Arrange strips so you have a variety of light, mediums and darks for each block.
- Sew strips clockwise around square as show in Diagram. Press and trim as you sew.
- Sew six blocks together to make a row. Make seven rows. Sew rows together. Press.
- Sandwich quilt top, batting and backing. Quilt as desired.
- Bind the quilt.
- You've completed your quilt top.

- Cut your strips on the lengthwise grain of fabric for less stretching when sewing your blocks.
