DIRECTIONS:
To find the downloadable patterns click on the "GET PATTERNS" tab above.- In looming, warp threads are the threads that form the base of the design. They're wrapped over the loom. Weft thread is the thread that is used for stitching. It runs under and over the warp threads as you stitch rows.
- Set up the loom in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions, included with the loom. Warp the loom with 8 warp threads, using John Bead Good Thread.
- Cut 70" of Good Thread. This will be the weft thread. Take the tail side of this strand and, leaving a 15" tail, tie it with a double knot around the leftmost warp thread, about a quarter of the way up from the bottom bar. Bring the needle under the warps to the other side (the right hand side).
- Pick up (7) size 11/0 Delica beads in accordance with the pattern. Slide the beads down the thread. They'll snuggle up to the leftmost warp thread. Use your lefthand index finger to hold the beads up under the warp threads. Each bead should sit in between two warp strands.
- Making sure to keep the needle above the warp threads, pass back through all the beads. Pull tightly. Repeat this step, referring to the pattern, adding rows to desired length.
- Remove the bracelet from the loom and weave in all warp threads and trim.
- Use the remaining weft thread to create a simple loop of (6) Delica beads in Chalk White, by looping through the center beads three times. Weave in and trim. Repeat to create a seed beaded loop on the other end of the bracelet.
- Open a jump ring and attach a lobster claw clasp to one side. Attach just a jump ring to the other side.
- Embellish your stack! Create a set of matching bracelets. String your leftover Delica beads on stretch cord to desired length, then tie the cord with an overhand knot and trim. A dot of glue on the knot is optional.
- Enjoy your bracelet!
