DIRECTIONS:
- Trim Live & Let Grow Specialty Paper to 8" x 12". Paint using a paintbrush and watercolor paints. When dry, adhere to the bottom of woodgrain Tree Tops patterned paper.
- Trim 3/4" x 12" strip and eight 1/8" x 12" strips from white cardstock. Adhere five of the thinner strips together and affix to the top of the 3/4" strip. Adhere the remaining strips together and affix below the other strips. Adhere entire piece to the top of the floral pattern on the layout.
- Add photo on the right side of the layout layering striped and plaid patterned papers. Add a border sticker from the sticker book directly under the photo.
- Cut title from blue patterned paper found in the 6" x 8" pad using alphabet dies. Adhere above photo using dimensional adhesive if desired.
- Embellish as desired using ephemera, stickers, and layered stickers as desired.
JOANN HACKS:
- Sometimes it's hard to get a balanced look when you want to showcase a busy patterned paper. By keeping the focus of the layout (usually the photo, title and/or journaling) confined to a small area, it allows you to let the pattern shine without getting visually overwhelmed.
