Pins fall out if there are too many...?
This bowl has a strong magnet, yet it was dropping pins after I emptied my pincushion pins into it. Perhaps there is a max capacity? It was pretty scary to have pins falling everywhere, especially after the packaging claimed the magnetic bowl could store pins when mounted on a wall or completely upside down. I plan on returning this product.

This one has a hold on me
After reading reviews I had to try this magnetic pin bowl. My old magnetic pin tray was losing magnetic field on one side and pins were falling off. This NEW tray is absolutely awesome! It’s rather large, holds a lot pins securely inside. The magnetic hold is very strong, pins aren’t going to get loose and fall out. They actually can’t because they’re in a bowl. The tray itself is strong and sturdy-doesn’t slide around the table. It was a great purchase!

Quite useful
I find it quite useful. The magnetic feature helps with gathering pins. It’s larger than I expected but I can place the smaller items not just pins when sewing.

Great Pin Container
Wow! This magnetic bowl is amazing! It holds all of my sewing needles and I never have to worry about bumping the container and spilling the pins all over the floor again. It is so much quicker than using a pin cushion. Great grandma would have loved this handy invention. I think I will buy one for my husband to use in the garage for his nuts and bolts. The magnet is so strong that you can literally turn the bowl upside down and nothing falls out. It is even strong enough to hold a pair of scissors.

Makes pins and needles more convenient to use.
I love this. It makes pins and needles so much more convenient to use. It helps keep track of them and keeps them off the floor. If you would still drop one on the floor, you can use the bottom of the dish as a magnet to find it. The dish is bigger and heavier than I expected but it is really good quality, and the size doesn’t bother me at all now.

Worth the Investment!
As a quilter who drops needles and can't find them, this magnetic pin bowl has been a lifesaver! The rubber base keeps it stable, but if you accidentally spill the bowl, the needles and pins stay inside it. If you drop a pin on the floor or couch while sewing, just use the bowl to glide across the surface and the pin will attach itself to the bowl. A word of caution...do not store credit cards or anything with a hard drive next to this because anything magnetic can erase them.
