DIRECTIONS:
- Cut 1" circles from various patterns using a punch or electronic die cut machine. Fold circles to create a square. If you use an electronic die cut machine, you can find a Folded Circles cut file from Paige Evans to make your job a little easier! If not, try cutting a square piece of cardstock as a template to create even folds.
- Hot glue squares onto journal cover.
- Create a layered flower using various pieces from the Bungalow Lane Floral Ephemera Pack, stitching a puffy button to the center with twine. Use dimensional adhesive between the layers if desired.
- Hot glue to notebook cover.
- Add a phrase sticker from the Bungalow Lane Sticker Book over the flower.
- Create tabs for the journal using perforated word strips from the Icon Ephemera pack rounding the corners if desired and adhere them to journal pages.
- To create the bookmark, cut a strip of patterned paper to the height of the journal, add stickers and/or die cuts, and punch a hole at the top. Add charms by adhering hearts from the puffy stickers and the epoxy stickers back-to-back, punching a hole, and tying twine through them. Thread through bookmark and let them dangle on the front of the journal.
JOANN HACKS:
- Create a journal for every season by simply changing the patterns that you use for the folded circles.
