Cole Seaglass
Aqua: Back panels: 2 @ 21" x 37", B, E, I
Cream: C, G
Cosima Indienne: F, H
Blue: A, D, piping (see directions)
Sew 1/2" SA.

  1. Front panel: Press open each seam immediately after stitching. Trim excess fabric beyond square or rectangle. Topstitch 1/4" from seam.
  2. RST sew A to B on 23 1/4" edges. Offset triangles as per template.
  3. RST sew C to D on 15 1/2" diagonal edge.
  4. RST sew E to F on 15 1/2" diagonal edge.
  5. RST sew C/D to E/F. See template for placement.
  6. RST sew A/B to C/D/E/F at B and C edges to create one panel 10" x 37". Set aside.
  7. On WS of H mark a line from the center of the 40 1/4" side to the opposite side point. RST G to H. Offset triangles as per template. Sew 1/2" SA from outer point to mark at center point of H. Repeat for I to H.
  8. RST sew A-F panel to G-I panel. Match corners and center seams.
  9. Piping: Cut blue fabric, three full 54" W x 2". Sew strips together. Place ends of strips RST at a 90-degree angle. Sew a diagonal line across ends. When long ends of strip are both RSU a continuous strip is created. Trim to 1/4" from seam. Press seam open. Press one end back 1/2". Use a zipper foot to sew strip around cable cord matching raw long edges of fabric. Start with folded end. Place cord to start 1/2" from folded end. Sew starting 1/2" from folded edge. This excess fabric will wrap over end of piping when applied to front.
  10. Piping to front: Place folded fabric end of piping at the center of H. Match raw edge of piping with raw edge of front. Use a zipper foot to sew. Start stitching 1" below center of H. Sew directly over original piping stitching. When close to corner of front mark 1/2" from corner on raw edge of piping. Use trim scissors to clip at mark, from raw edge toward original stitching, without cutting into stitching. Flare raw edge of piping to turn corner. When close to center of H trim cording so ends of cord fit together. Place the end of cord to fit in line with the start of cord. Wrap the original folded end of fabric strip around the end of piping. Sew in place. Zig zag stitch edge to prevent fray.
  11. Back panels: Zig zag stitch all edges of two back panels. Fold one long edge back 1". Baste. Repeat. Place one side of Velcro centered on RS of folded area. Sew in place. Place opposite side of Velcro centered on WS of folded area of second back panel. Sew in place. Secure Velcro together to make one panel 37" square.
  12. Back to front: RST match front to back at corners. Use fabric clips to hold panels together. Use a zipper foot to sew together from front side, directly over original piping stitching. Trim corners. TRSO.
  13. Open Velcro and fill with pillow form.
