How To Get It

Quench a thirst for pretend play with this wooden ice and drink dispenser! Kids can order four different kinds of "juices" (orange, apple, fruit punch, or grape) on a reusable menu card. Load the durable plastic ice cubes and drink insert into the dispenser, turn the dial and press the lever, and voilà! "Chilled drinks" drop into the cups! Kids three and older will love playing restaurant, lunch counter, or just creating cool pretend drinks to order. Measures 11.25" x 5.25" x 8.75".

Even with a simple function of only dispensing ice and "juice" sleeves into the cups - it provides hours of fun. We bought this in combination with the Toy Juice Bottles that are similar to the old baby bottles where the juice seems to disappear into the lid area as you "pour". The two toys together are great. The only thing that could be improved upon would be a few more ice cubes - which others have commented on. But if you have an active child, they'll more than likely be preparing the next cup of juice before they need more.

It is not just for fun playtime but also for fun learning too. My daughter already know how to differentiate the colors according to their flavour.

My 2 Three-year old grandchildren love this toy, but it is frustrating for them as it only comes with 2 ice cubes - even with sharing, this creates problems as you have to take the drink/cup apart and (from one of them) to continue playing with it. Take the ice cubes away and half the toy is inoperative and 50% of it is the ice portion. I did call and ask to buy additional and was told to call back sometime in April for replacements. Resolve the ice cube dilemma and I would recommend this toy.

Very durable but the ice machine should be on the left because you have to put ice in first then the drink insert. Working from right to left is confusing for the kids who are just learning left to right progression for beginning reading and especially hard for my special needs students.
