    1. Assign a color to each layer accordingly. In this case, EasyWeed Electric Red HTV for the text and EasyWeed Electric Blue HTV for the stars.
    2. Place EasyWeed Electric Red HTV with the carrier side facing down on the cutting mat. Mirror design and cut, then remove from mat. Repeat for EasyWeed Electric Blue.
    3. Cut pieces from the sheets using scissors to save extra material around the design.
    4. Use weeder to remove excess material and cavities so that only your design is left on the carrier sheet. Trimming the carrier sheet close to the design before weeding will make the task easier.
    5. Set Cricut EasyPress to 335F.
    6. Open fabric and pre-press to remove creases and moisture.
    7. Trace the center ring of embroidery on with a pencil, chalk, or fabric pen with disappearing ink.
    8. Position the design onto the fabric, centering it within the traced outline of the hoop.
    9. When layering multiple colors, use tacks (1-3 second presses) and firm pressure. Remember to cover HTV with parchment paper for each press.
    10. Tack the EasyWeed Electric Red HTV and remove carrier sheet hot or cold. Line up the EasyWeed Electric Blue HTV and repeat.
    11. Re-cover everything with parchment paper and press for the full 10-15 seconds.
    12. After the fabric has cooled completely, sandwich the fabric between the two rings, smooth out wrinkles, and tighten outer hoop. Trim excess fabric from back, cutting as close to hoop as possible.
    13. Use hot glue and ribbon to create a ruffle-style frame on the back or front of the hoop and display as desired.

    JOANN HACKS:

    • Both colors can be pressed at the same time if the carrier sheets are trimmed so they don't overlap any of the HTV.
    • All time, temperature, and pressure settings for heat applying Siser HTV can be found at SiserNA.com. Add an additional 30F to our recommended settings anytime you are using a Cricut EasyPress.
