I made this for my 2 year old Granddaughter. It came great and was really easy, even the tail went on perfectly. She loves it. Now all my grown daughters want one. Thanks for the pattern.

Mermaid Tail Snuggle made with Bernat Baby Blanket
I made this snuggle for my granddaughter because I had made a shark snuggle and an alligator snuggle for my grandsons. My granddaughter absolutely loved it! The yarn is bulky but works up easily and quickly. I am making one for my niece who is in college and says her dorm room is cold. This is a great project because it is easy, quick, and very soft and warm.

Math error?
So far so good... All I have left to do is to attach the tail to the sack. The last row of the sack has 40 stitches in it, so when you sew the back seam and the bottom together there are only 20 stitches. The top of the tail has 40 stitches... How am I supposed to connect the tail to the sack?

Easy and so snuggly!
I just finished this pattern as a Christmas gift for my grand niece. She loves The Little Mermaid, so I chose a different color than suggested in the pattern. I actually chose 2 colors! I did the first 5 rows and the tail in Seafoam, and crocheted the body of the pattern in Easter Egg. I had just enough left of the Easter Egg to sew up the back seam :) I am so pleased with the final piece and can't wait to give it to her! Thank you for offering free patterns!

Very simple and easy pattern-fast!
I began making this for my daughter for a Christmas gift-problem-my daughter is an adult & didn't realize this pattern was written for a child-my fault for not measuring. So, I finished this one & gave it to a friend for her granddaughter for Christmas & will buy new yarn & adjust my pattern, tweaking it for adult size. Thanks for pattern!
