SUPPLIES & TOOLS:

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Cut a piece of ribbon about 6’ in length.  Tie each end onto the pole at the ends of the pole.
  2. By the ribbon hang your pole over a nail on a wall or a knob on your high cabinets.
  3. Take all of the flowers at cut the heads of the flowers off of the stem leaving about 1/8” of stem on them.
  4. Unroll your monofilament thread just a teeny bit and tape the end onto a flat surface.
  5. Go down about 8” on the thread, tie on the first flower head behind the flower base above the little green base leaves.  You might have to disassemble the base just a bit to be able to tie the monofilament thread onto flower and then slide the base leaves back up against the base of the flower to hold it secure.  Move down the thread, about 3-6” and tie on the next flower. Continue this process mixing up the shapes, colors and sizes of the flowers until you have created the desired length of a chain of flowers.
  6. Now go over to the hanging pole and tie on your first chain of flowers about 2” in from the end of the pole.
  7. Continue to make chains of flowers and tie them onto the pole about every 4-6” apart.
