SUPPLIES & TOOLS:

  • Floral wreath
  • Metallic gold spray paint
  • Ribbon
  • Scissors
  • Paper or drop cloth to protect work surface

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Place wreath on protected work surface and paint all the foliage with metallic gold spray paint. You will want to apply in thin coats to prevent paint from dripping. Apply additional coats as needed.
  2. Place a ribbon through the center of the wreath, pulling it up to make a hanger loop. Knot the two ends together leaving enough excess to create a bow and leave excess tails. Trim the ends evenly and hang.

JOANN Hacks:

  • Spray paint outdoors or in a well ventilated area, read paint can for proper instructions and guidelines.
  • Since the wreath is textured, you may need to spray at different angles to get into all the areas of the wreath. Spraying multiple thin coats of paint about 8"-12" from the wreath constantly moving the can as you spray.
