SUPPLIES & TOOLS:
- Cotton Fabric
- Iron
- Rotary Cutter, Cutting Mat, and Straight edge
- Straight Pins or Sewing Clips
- Sewing Machine
- Matching Thread
DIRECTIONS:
- Iron fabric.
- For an 18" x 18" napkin, cut a 19" x 19" square from the cotton fabric.
- (For an alternative size, add an inch to desired length and an inch to desired width; and cut.)
- Fold a side in 1/4" and press with iron. Fold side in 1/4" again, and press with iron again.
- Repeat for all four sides.
- Unfold and trim corner from square to square (see diagram).
- Refold the first fold on both sides.
- Fold the trimmed corner point down to the second creased lines.
- Refold the second fold on both sides; pin into place.
- Repeat for all four corners.
- Secure folds with straight pins and sew around all four edges 1/4" from the folded edge.

Seems like a good project...and I feel some confidence about attempting it but where is the "diagram"?
