SUPPLIES & TOOLS:
  • 100% Cotton Fabric (1/2yd per pillow)
  • 100% Coordinating Cotton Fabric (1/2yd per pillow)
  • 3-4 Buttons per Pillow
  • Basic Sewing Supplies
  • 16"x 16" Pillow Form
  • 12"x 16" Pillow Form

DIRECTIONS:
16"x 16" PILLOW:
  1. Cut 1 rectangle 17"x 15" from cotton fabric.
  2. Cut 1 rectangle 17"x 25" of coordinating fabric.
  3. With right sides together sew two rectangles together on the 17" side using 1/2" seam allowance.
  4. Press seam towards darker fabric.
  5. Finish the short ends of the fabric by folding under 1/2" twice, press and sew close to edge to finish hem.
  6. Lay fabric right side up and fold ends towards center to create desired length of design on front of pillow, overlapping the finished edges approximately 4" to create an envelope back.
  7. Pin and sew edges of pillow to create case using 1/2" seam allowance.
  8. Turn right side out and press.
  9. Sew buttons along edge of seam on front of pillow for decoration.
  10. Insert pillow form.

12"x 16" PILLOW:
