- 1/4yd Pellon® 70 Peltex Sew-In Ultra Firm Stabilizer
- 3" of 1/2" wide Velcro®
- Cat accessories pattern - 1/4"seam allowance included
- 6" of 1/8" wide elastic
DIRECTIONS:
- Cut two of cat bandana, twelve crown and two brims out of MLB fabric. Cut six crowns and two brims out of interfacing.
- Baste crowns and brims to interfacing, wrong-sides together.
- Sew brims right-side together, trim seam allowance and turn piece right-side out. Press well and edgestitch curved edge. Baste non-sewn edges together.
- Sew six curved crown pieces right-side together to create one interfaced and one non-interfaced hat. Press well.
- Sew brim to interfaced crown, wrong-sides together, placing brim just inside three wedges. Sew interfaced crown to non-interfaced crown right-sides together, leaving 2" hole for turning.
- Turn piece right-side out and press well. Hand stitch closed the turning hole and edge stitch around bottom of hat.
- Hand sew elastic just inside of hat next to each side of brim to create chin strap.
- Pin cat bandanas right-sides together. Sew around all edges of cat, leaving small hole for turning. Turn piece right-side out and press well. Edgestitch around piece, closing turning hole in process. Sew 1 1/2" of Velcro loop to left side for underlap. Sew 1 1/2" of Velcro hook to right side for overlap.

Nice Pattern
This requires some sewing experiance. Print to scale add seam allowance and follow instructions. Comes together nicely. Great project for scraps.
