SUPPLIES & TOOLS:
- 1/2 yd each of 10 neutral cotton prints
- 1/8 yd each of 5 solid cottons
- 3 yd fabric for backing
- 1/2 yd fabric for binding (or you can use scraps from your neutrals for a scrappy binding)
- Twin size batting
- Rotary cutter, ruler and mat
- Basic sewing supplies
- Iron and pressing surface
- Sewing machine
DIRECTIONS:

50"x 70" Quilt
- Use an accurate 1/4" seam throughout. Read all instructions before cutting.
- From solids cut seven 3 1/2" squares from each of the 5 colors for 35 total squares.
- Cut some 2 1/4" strips from each of the neutrals. From them, cut a mix in the following sizes: 35 - 2 1/4"x 3 1/2"
- To print the templates, click on the "Download Project PDF" button (above).
- Follow Diagram A sewing strips around 3 1/2" square in order shown. You will have 35 blocks when finished and they should measure approximately 10 1/2" square. Press and trim.
- Use Diagram B for block placement and sew into rows.
- Stitch the 7 rows together to complete the quilt top.
- Sandwich the quilt top, batting and backing. Quilt by stitching in the ditch or as desired.
- Trim and bind the quilt.
