- Simplicity 2917 (Adult: use amount fabric stated plus the same amount for lining)
- Simplicity 9320 (Child: use the amount stated on pattern to use for Satin)
- 1/2yd Floral Sequins (for bodice)
- 3yds Tulle (for overskirt)
- Matching Thread
- Sewing Notions
DIRECTIONS:
NOTE: 5/8" seam allowance unless noted.- Adult dress: Follow pattern instructions.
- Child's dress: Cut bodice and sleeve out of Floral Sequins. Follow instructions for bodice, sleeve, skirt and belt out of satin.
- Tulle overskirt: Cut 3 layers each for the front and back skirt the full width of tulle. Sew front and back tulle, together gather all three layers at waist. Connect to gathered under satin skirt, attach to bodice.
JOANN HACKS:
- Tulle does not need to be hemmed as it will not unravel.
