Monochromatic Butterfly Shaped Card

• Hero Arts Berry Smoothie Reactive Ink
• Hero Arts Acrylic Stamping Block
• Ranger Blending Tool
• Glue Dots Micro Memory Dot Roll, clear
• White cardstock
• Purple cardstock
• Purple sequins
• White gel pen
• Stylus
• Ruler
• Die cutting machine
• Liquid adhesive

DIRECTIONS:

1. Die cut two large butterflies from white cardstock.
2. Die cut three “thinking of you" word dies from purple cardstock. Adhere the three messages together using liquid adhesive.
3. Stamp the Ocean Waves image on one of the white butterflies using Berry Smoothie Reactive Ink. Use a foam blending tool to create a gradient of color around the edge of the butterfly.
4. Adhere the “thinking of you" word die to the butterfly using liquid glue.
5. On the second white butterfly create a hinge by scoring a line 1/2" from the top of the butterfly and fold back. Apply liquid glue to the hinge flaps and adhere stamped butterfly over the top.
6. Adhere a scattering of purple sequins with Micro Glue Dots.
7. Use a white gel pen to add details to the word die.

Craft Hack Tips and Tricks:

• When adhering delicate dies, such as word dies, use a liquid glue that dries clear for a clean finish.
