SUPPLIES & TOOLS:
- DCWV Rainbow Splash Stack
- White cardstock
- Scissors
- Glue
DIRECTIONS:
- Cut strips of paper from various patterns in the DCWV Rainbow Splash Stack.
- Cut the strips into smaller pieces at various angles to create “tiles".
- Draw or print a heart shape onto white cardstock.
- Glue patterned paper pieces all over to fill in the heart.
- Add the “I love you" sentiment, trimmed from one of the papers in the DCWV Rainbow Splash Stack, to the center of the heart using dimensional adhesive if desired.

- This is a great project for kids learning to use scissors to cut paper.
- Try this using any shape you like - it doesn't have to be a heart.
- Cut larger “tiles" for a quicker project.
