Beginner 3-5 Hours

SUPPLIES & TOOLS:

  • Unfinished wood frame
  • Moss
  • Tacky Glue
  • Clock kit
  • Wood craft sticks
  • Drill & drill bit (drill bit sized to fit the post on your clock kit)
  • Pencil
  • Ruler
  • Hot glue gun/glue gun sticks

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Using a ruler, find the center of the wood frame. Mark with an X. Drill a hole at the X using the drill bit sized for the clock post.
  2. Cover the front of the unfinished wood frame with tacky glue and cover with moss. Trim off any excess moss.
  3. Push the post of the clock kit through the frame and assemble as instructed.
  4. Trim the hands off just before they bell out so the metal doesn't stick out on either side of the wood. This will give you something to attach the wood craft sticks too. Glue wood craft sticks in place with hot glue.

JOANN Hacks:

  • Keep the moss short and press firmly to the wood so it does not interfere with the clock hands.
