Mug Design Setup

SUPPLIES & TOOLS:

  • Infusible Ink™ Transfer Sheet Patterns
  • 12"x12" StandardGrip Machine Mat
  • Cricut Mug Press™
  • Cricut Mug Blank, 12oz
  • Lint roller
  • Heat-resistant tape (optional)

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Go to this project on Cricut Design Space to make this:Design Space Link

    2. PREP
  2. To begin, select Customize.
  3. Add text and/or images as desired. Use the red mug icons to map your design. To lock everything in place, use Attach.
  4. Click the eyeball icon to hide the layer titled Hide This Layer.

    5. CUT
  5. When you’re ready, select Make It, and mirror your design.
  6. Place Infusible Ink Transfer Sheet, shiny side (clear liner) down, on mat.
  7. Follow Design Space prompts to cut images.

    8. ASSEMBLE
  8. Remove unneeded pieces, leaving design on clear liner.
  9. Apply design to your Cricut Mug Blank, and secure in place with heat-resistant tape.
  10. Once Cricut Mug Press™ has reached pressing temperature, insert mug into press and lower lever to start transfer.
  11. After beep, remove mug from press, and set on heat-resistant surface. Once completely cool, remove transfer sheet to reveal design.
