This made a perfect cover to protect my couch from the dog. The fabric was wide enough that I was able to cut it half and draped it without needing to sew it. I purchase double the length of the couch. Placed one piece on the bottom that covered part of the top cushion. The second on the top and tucked it all in. Easy to wash
