Box Cushions
Although I believe these instructions are not well written, I don't think this is that hard to figure out as others have said. The 73" is the length of the sofa/love seat cushion, you may have to adjust this length for your size cushion. The sides are the narrow 6" strips and they tell you how to cut the contrasting piping material. Velcro or a zipper to close cushion and contain the foam/fiber-fill. the other dimensions were for a back cushion and they give you back sized back pillows that can be enlarged or decreased in size and shape to match your seat. I personally don't care much for piping as it causes me to hurt right where my legs sit on it (fibromyalgia trigger) and I think that using some kind of liner to contain the stuffing/foam inside of the cushions would help keep the filling from making a mess when you need to change or freshen up your cushions.

WHO writes these ridiculous instructions???
I am a crafter. These instructions sent me to YouTube looking for box cushions. A total waste of time here.

Not even close!
For someone who wants a recipe for a box cushion, this totally fails. It’s like telling someone who wants to build a garden shed to go to Home Depot and buy wood.
Break it down, give measurement guidelines for the piece of furniture and how that translates to materials (fabric, foam, cording).

Ridiculous Instructions
If you are going to bother to interest us in a sewing project, why drop the ball completely on the instructions? Fortunately I know how to sew and of my own resources could finish these but man oh man you’ve got to get a new tech writer. Disappointing.
