Now she has her own tote with fruit & veggies. She loves to play with her pots & pans to "cook" ( pretend) her farmer market food . Great item for a child with a wonderful imagination .

At our local library time, they will bring out fruits and vegetables to introduce kids to pretend play. My son loved the felt version at our library so I thought I would get use this for him now. He's been playing with it for a few weeks and loves it! At first, there was a strong plastic smell, so I thoroughly hand-washed everything laid it out to dry in the sun for a few hours. Note: some products have holes so be weary of submerging the toys in water. These are the best fruit and veggie toys I have found on the market! He plays with them every day now. He gravitates towards the strawberry, banana, and apricot - maybe because he eats these on a regular basis? I have to give this 3 stars however because the green paint on the corn started to peel. I was a little disappointed about that.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This set is so cute! I have just discovered the new sprouts line of play food and I absolutely love them! The food are realistic looking yet fit in my daughters hands well (shes 19mos old) theyre a little bit rubbery so if she chews on them not a big deal and theyre durable. I was so excited when I got this for her for Christmas I gave it to her right away and then ordered other sets to actually give her on Christmas. At first the bag struck me as small because when I'd ordered it online I thought it would be bigger until I saw it with my daughter and its her perfect size. super pleased I would recommend these toys to everyone shopping for play food!
