SUPPLIES & TOOLS:
- 1 yd Print Fleece
- 1yd Solid Fleece
- 20" Purchased Pillow Form (or desired size)
- Optional: Scissors or Rotary Cutter, Mat, and Ruler
- Optional: June Taylor Shape Cutter
DIRECTIONS:
- Lay the solid fleece wrong side up on cutting surface, lay the print fleece right side up on top of the solid fleece.
- For a 20" pillow, cut a 30" square. NOTE: add 10" to pillow size.
- For easy handling, pin/baste front to back about 6" from the edges.
- Cut a 5" square out of each corner.
- Make fringe around all four sides by cutting 3" into the fleece 1" apart.
- Tie the strips into knots using one piece from the top and one from the bottom. NOTE: tying square knots - right over left, then left over right - will show the back fleece on the front side of the pillow.
- Tie all around three sides, insert pillow form and knot fourth side.

- The June Taylor Shape Cutter and a rotary cutter, makes cutting 1" strips easy and consistent.

No-Sew Pillow
These directions need to be changed. The 5” squares in the 4 corners are totally wrong. They should be 3” squares to match up with each side.

Measurements Make No Sense
If you have never made a no sew pillow before, look elsewhere for a tutorial. First of all why would I buy a whole yard of each fleece fabric if the pattern only calls for 30"? It also tells you to cute 5" squares from the corners but only 3" strips in the sides. This would create large holes in the corners! Finally, the pillow form needed to fill a pillow of this size needs to be at least 24" sq, a 20" sq pillow form didn't fill this well due to the fleece's stretch.
