SUPPLIES & TOOLS:
- 1yd Cotton Quilt Fabric
- Sewing Scissors
- Tape Measure
- Iron (optional)
DIRECTIONS:
- Measure length around pet's neck and add 8" to measurement. The extra inches are to give enough room to tie the bandana in a knot.
- Square quilt fabric by ripping the edges.
- Lay fabric flat on workspace with right side facing down.
- Take corner of fabric and start folding towards the opposite corner until the length of the fold matches your measurement.
- Trim excess fabric.
- Use an iron to press the fold.

I have used Stitch Witchery and folded the long side down enough to make room for the dog collar and then slide the collar through the long side of the bandana and not worry about it coming untied

Notes about these bandannas
This is how a lot of pet groomers do our bandannas; However, do NOT tie the material in a knot around the dog's neck, if they get it caught they can hang or choke themselves. Use a small rubber band to wrap the ends together around the neck.. That way if they do get caught, the band will break or stretch.
