SUPPLIES & TOOLS:
- Denim jacket
- Fringe trim (enough to cover wingspan of jacket + a few inches)
- Diamond gemstone trim in various widths
- Scissors
- Pencil
- Fabric glue
DIRECTIONS:
- Lay the denim jacket face down on your craft surface.
- Fold under the end of your fringe and glue in place so you have a finished end.
- Starting at one end apply a line of fabric glue along the back seam, that follows the arms and back of the jacket, across the entire arm span. As you apply the line of glue add on the fringe starting at one cuff and finishing at the other. Make sure to cut the fringe slightly longer so you can fold and glue under the end to make a finished end. Allow to dry.
- Using the thick diamond gemstone trim cut it into letters to spell the word WIFE across the upper back of the jacker just above the fringed seam.
- Use a pencil to help draw out the letters if needed.
- Once the letters are all cut out Glue them to the jacket just above the fringe.
- Cut the gemstone trim to 1/2" thickness the length of the jacket’s arm span and glue it on the top of the fringe leaving a small white border of fringe above. *You can cut piece the length together if needed just put your seams at the arm pit area.
- Set aside to dry.
