Nursery Fabric Star Pillows

SUPPLIES & TOOLS:

• Cotton fabric (fabric), 1/3yd
• Flannel fabric (back), 1/3yd
• Batting, 1/3yd
• Polyfil®
• General sewing supplies
• Template

DIRECTIONS:

1. Using template, cut 1 each of fabric, back and batting.
2. Baste batting to back of fabric.
3. With right sides together, stitch fabric and batting to back, leaving a 3" opening along one edge.
4. Clip notches around rounded edges.
5. Clip at each corner to seam being careful not to cut thread.
6. Turn right side out and use stuffing tool provided in Polyfil or something similar to push out star; press.
7. Fold edges of opening and press so they match up; pin.
8. Stuff enough to give shape, but don't overstuff.
9. Hand stitch the opening.
